Computers

What do you use?

Mmm… This is a long list. The most important apps I use are:

Communication:

Development:

Bitbucket for documentation and code review, Pivotal Tracker,  mercurial, subversion, git, C++, ErlangPython (more Pypy than cPython), Pylons.

Servers:

FreeBSD (all my machines are FreeBSD), tcsh, PostgreSQL, ClusterDB, MySQL, MongoDB, NFS, Samba, Nginx, Lighttpd, Apache, OpenSSH.

Softwares:

Emacs (with a lot custom scripts, org-mode), ipython, Clementine-player (no more Amarok, sorry), GIMP, Opera, Chrome (no more Firefox), BitlbeeAwesome, Remember The Milk and Evernote.

And keyboards and mice?

I’m big fan of Logitech. My default keyboard is Logitech Comfort Cordless Keyboard. Now I’m using the Logitech Cordless Optical TrackMan. Mmm no, I don’t hate mouses or something like that, but I prefer Trackballs and yes I’ve one Razer’s Lachesis for game proposes.

  1. Ray McKenzie

Would you mind if I used your Canadian Flag (http://changelog.umgeher.mitgnu.com/stuff/wallpapers/canadian-flag/) for a weblog? I’m just in the process of putting the site together. It’s rachellake.ca

Also, do you think you could make a complimentary flay for Japan?

    Thanks,

    Ray

  2. Ray, It’s not my creation, sorry dude. But he (http://magnaen.deviantart.com/) is the creator (some kind of god like hehe)!
